One of the guys kept being bothered by an old flame. The passion was so strong he found it hard to resist her. From that situation, we wrote about a certain someone who he knows isn't good for him, yet can't resist the temptation. Lady Rewind is a woman who constantly lives in past and tries to drag you back there with her.

Edit It Out We were sitting around jamming one day and decided to write a song based on a movie scene. This song is about the heart breaking loss of a lover, and dealing with the uncomfortable feeling of wanting to completely forget about something/someone rather than live with the pain. You would rather not remember anything about the person instead of being stuck with the memories of how happy and in love you once were with them.

After watching a documentary on soldiers in Iraq, it made us think of the last moment these guys get to spend with their loved ones.That got us on to the concept of leaving things on bad terms and potentially never being able to resolve them. We then related that to situations in our own lives, hence Let It Go.

Once again we were all jamming with a guitar and thought of writing a comeback track to all the female artists writing about men being lazy in a relationship. We particulary targeted Alesha Dixons 'The Boy Does Nothing' hence the first line 'so you say that I do nothing babe'. As much as it pains some men to say, this song is about telling a girl that a relationship is more than just sex. The idea came from the first line we came up with in the chorus, 'Can you feel love' where you're asking someone if they feel anything but the physical side to a relationship.

This song was written at a time when we were all feeling very frustrated and we all wanted to vent that. We then related it to a relationship where it wasn't working. You didn't see before, but now you've 'seen the light'. "The Light" is the feeling of knowing when it's time to say goodbye to something.
