The big freeze!!! As everyones probably experienced the last few weeks have been propa freezin an iv never been so cold in my life...an i HATE the cold aswell! Apparantly its the coldest its been in about 10 yrs but me mum said she cant remember it ever being this cold and she's nearly 50... So whats goin on??? I thought global warming meant all the icebergs where melting so it was supposed to get hotter not colder?! I'm confused but seriously cant believe how many problems its all causing. I read on the underground today its costing the govenment like millions of pounds to try and cope with everythin and its a propa nightmare for people trying to travel. I nearly never got back to london cos i was snowed in but me good old mum saved the day by bravin the cold and driving me all the way back to london (rrr love ye mum!!) It was funny actually but a bit scary at the time cos the window washer stuff wouldn't work cos it had froze an the front windscreen wos so dirty we couldn't even see out of it...so while me mum wos drivin i had to throw coffee over it to try and clean it a bit untill we got to the next service station haha!! It was nice tho cos she stayed for a few days an only went back home today so its been lovely havin her round the house an that. We went to see Avatar aswell the other night and...WOW! Its absolutely amazin and since seein it i actually want to be an Avatar!! So if anyone hasn't seen it then defo go cos its boss. Anyway back to the weather, reports say that the conditions are getting worse and with warnings of a salt emergency things aren't looking good...so if anyone knows anyone who might be housebound cos of the weather, like old people and stuff then make sure you try and help them out. Oh and be careful of black ice aswell cos i keep fallin over cos me boots havent got any grip on haha... so it cant all be about style in these conditions!!! Kev x |
